Pilot's Story

Meet Pilot, a 4-year old, very sweet, ball-obsessed love bug with classic Border Collie energy. Pilot is happiest when he’s with his people, whether that means playing endless rounds of fetch, curling up in bed in “his spot,” or following you from room to room (yes, even the bathroom). He’s incredibly affectionate, generous with kisses, and loves meeting new people...including kids!

Pilot has lived with other dogs and generally coexists well, but he’s definitely more people-focused than dog-focused. He’d thrive in a home where he can soak up plenty of one-on-one attention and be someone’s loyal sidekick. He’s smart, food motivated, and knows how to turn on the charm the second treats come out.

He did have an injury that required some physical therapy and makes him walk a little less than perfect, but he is fully healed and he doesn't let it stop him from enjoying life, playtime, or adventures. Pilot is truly a loving, devoted boy who just wants a best friend to adore — and who will adore him right back.

Although Pilot has never had any issues with small animals, he is a border collie with a high prey drive and cannot go to a home with cats, or other small animals.

Special needs: history of FCE (spinal injury) has abnormal gait
