Pike's Story
How this pet arrived: Pike was brought in by his previous owner on June 27, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Pike, a total sweetheart with a big heart and even bigger kisses! This affectionate boy loves to follow his people around and be part of the action. He's an active pup who enjoys outings and gets excited to hit the road - he may pull on the leash at first but settles into a nice and easy stride. He already knows how to "sit" and would thrive with positive reinforcement training and a consistent routine to help channel his enthusiasm. Pike has a positive history living with cats and children. He's done well with other dogs on outings, but may prefer to be the only dog at home due to some guarding behaviors and reactivity. If you have another dog, bring them in for a meet-and-greet to ensure if it's a good match. Come meet this lovable guy and be ready for your heart to be stolen - don't forget to bring the whole family! At SDHS:Pike has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He is now ready for his new home! Dog Reactive Dog:Pike requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about him.

Primary Color: Blue Weight: 79.4lbs Age: 5yrs 11mths 1wks Animal has been Neutered
