Piglett

Piglett has definitely one of the toughest stories any dog at CGHS has managed to overcome. Piggy came to us absolutely covered in serious road rash and open wounds, stitches in his head, and just the saddest pout face we have ever seen. To this day we are not quite sure of the exact events that led to Piglett being in this condition, we've heard everything from being pushed out a moving vehicle on the highway to falling down into a canyon. Despite this Piglett has been an absolute angel to staff at CGHS, he's very popular at the vet office, and has won over the heart of everyone he's met!

Piglett has met other dogs but can have a more dominant personality, he doesn't really participate in rough or crazy play and isn't afraid to assert his boundaries. He has been getting overwhelmed at the shelter with the loud, chaotic environment of the shelter so he has displayed some mouthiness but is easily redirected. Piggy is also quite a unit of a dog, he can be stubborn on walks or pull you the way he wants but it's just because he is an avid sniffer!

Piglett would be such a great addition to any family willing to give him the time to decompress from his stressful start here at CGHS and learn how to have fun again after his strict recovery routine! He deserves to have fun again!

Age: 3-4 years
Weight: 77lbs
Adoption fee: $250

Fill out an application at: https://www.columbiagorgehs.org/adopt.html

(All animals adopted out of CGHS are spayed/neutered, up to date on annual vaccines including rabies, and microchipped)
