PIGLET's Story

Piglet is an 8-year-old blind pug with the gentlest soul and the sweetest heart. After spending the last couple of weeks in a loving foster home, his foster mom describes him as an absolute dream dog—and it’s easy to see why. Piglet is calm, quiet, and wonderfully easygoing. He has a peaceful presence that brings a sense of comfort to everyone around him. This little guy is a true cuddle bug. His favorite place to be is curled up in your lap, drifting off to sleep while feeling safe and loved. He’s house trained and has lovely manners, making him a low-maintenance companion who simply wants to be near his person. Because Piglet is blind, he will need a patient and compassionate adopter who can help guide him as he learns the layout of his new home. With a little time and consistency, he’ll build confidence and settle into a routine. What he needs most is someone with a big heart—someone who can offer him unconditional love, reassurance, and a safe space to thrive. Piglet may not be interested in toys, but he absolutely loves treats—especially apples, blueberries, bananas, and oranges! Mealtime and snack time are definitely highlights of his day. If you’re looking for a calm, devoted companion who will happily snuggle the day away and fill your home with quiet love, Piglet might just be your perfect match. ?? Piglet is currently in a foster home. To make an appointment to meet Piglet, please contact our foster coordinator at vbasfosterinfo@gmail.com.
