He is extremely food-motivated and absolutely loves treats, meals, and especially Dentastix. One of the quickest ways to win him over is through snacks.

He enjoys walks, car rides, swimming, and waterworks. He also loves cozy, dens and cubby-holes as safe spaces

With people he knows and trusts, Rogie is a wonderful companion. He can be affectionate, playful, and mannerly in everyday life.
Rogie is a typical Eskie in that he is suspicious and skeptical of strangers, and can be unpredictable - he HATES being approached, touched unexpectedly, cornered, grabbed, or manhandled. He works best with large doses of diplomacy and positive motivation. Vets and groomers are NOT his favorite
He is not naturally social with other animals, but he has shown that with slow intros, patience, and consistency, he can selectively bond, adapt, and coexist normally with certain dogs (he lives with two others). No cats, kids, or strangers though!

Overall, Rogie is a dog with many great qualities, especially in a calm environment with people he trusts. He will do best in a quiet home that feels safe, structured, predictable, and low-traffic. He definitely needs a very breed-savvy owner and we are hoping to find an experienced, patient home that can provide him with understanding, structure, and a safe environment to thrive in.
