Pierce's Story
One look at those ice-blue eyes and you'll understand why Pierce stops people in their tracks... and once he decides you're one of his people, he'll roll right over and ask for belly rubs.

Born around April 2024, Pierce is a gentle soul who needs a little time to warm up to new people. Once he decides you're okay, he soaks up every bit of attention and affection you can give him, and with continued guidance, patience, and a loving home, he makes a great companion.

Walks are his happy place. He wants to sniff every blade of grass and every corner of the neighborhood, and he takes the job very seriously.

For a Pyrenees and husky mix (two famously vocal breeds), Pierce is surprisingly quiet! Our foster has only heard a handful of barks (and a few classic husky "woo woos"), mostly when he's inviting someone to play. He's calm and easygoing around the house, and things like the vacuum don't faze him one bit.

When the playful side comes out, it really comes out. Pierce lives for morning zoomies in the yard, and stuffed toys are his absolute favorite. He loves to give them a good shake and take them apart piece by piece, so durable toys are a smart investment!

He's house-trained and does well with a crate. He happily eats his meals in there, and his foster has been building on that so it keeps feeling like his own cozy spot.

Pierce just wants a soft place to land at the end of the day, and he'll reward you with a lifetime of loyalty.

He is up to date on his vaccinations.

Could you be the one Pierce rolls over for? Apply to meet him today!

To schedule a meet and greet, please fill out an adoption application, which can be easily found at: https://www.jackjackspack.org/adopt

Once your application has been approved, a member of our team will contact you to schedule a phone interview and, if approved, a meet-and-greet. This process can take up to 10 days as we are volunteer run.

Please keep in mind that we select the best-qualified applicants based on the needs of both the dog and the applicant.
