Pie's Story
Pie is a beautiful German Shepherd / Husky mix with striking heterochromia -- one of her eyes is a different color than the other, giving her a truly unique look.

Pie was surrendered to Boxers & Buddies shortly after giving birth to her puppies when her previous owner was no longer able to care for her and the litter. Now that her puppies are growing up, Pie is finally getting the chance to focus on herself, and she's thriving in her foster home.

Pie gets along well with the resident dog and does well around cats. She does like to encourage the cats to play, so any feline friends in her future home should be comfortable around dogs.

She's a very sweet girl who loves people, but she's still learning her manners. Pie can get so excited to see her humans that she may jump up to say hello. Because of this, we recommend a home with children over 5 while she continues working on her polite greetings. With time, training, and consistency, we expect her to keep improving.

Pie would thrive in a home that will:
* Continue helping her learn good manners
* Provide structure and consistent training
* Appreciate a sweet, playful companion

Pie is a loving girl who's ready for a fresh start and a family who will help her continue growing into her best self.

If you think Pie could be the missing piece of your family, we'd love to hear from you.

Before adoption, all Boxers & Buddies dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped. All dogs are fostered in loving homes where they are treated like family while practicing socialization skills.

Our adoption process:
Once an application is submitted, our adoption team will contact you within 24 hours. After an interview and home check, a meet and greet will be scheduled. If you currently have a dog or dogs, they must attend the meet and greet.

If you rent your home, you will be expected to provide a copy of your rental agreement showing that dogs are allowed.

As part of our adoption contract, all dogs are required to attend a training course or puppy socialization class conducted by a certified positive reinforcement trainer. We require professional obedience training from a certified trainer for ALL adoptions.
If you are interested in meet or adoption me, please fill out an adoption application athttps://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=sa3058&method=online_form_html&formid=41
