I am 7 years old and weigh 19 pounds. I need a new home because I am a breeder release. I am being fostered in Des Moines, IA.

My forever home needs to be patient and understanding as I am still learning how to dog and that I can be timid and scared at first, but do warm up with time.

I would love another confident, friendly dog in my home to continue learning from, but would also be okay as an only dog. I get along great with other dogs of all sizes

I am learning all about toys, bones and treats!
I don’t jump up on furniture and prefer curling up in a cozy dog bed on the floor near you, especially if it’s in front of a space heater.
I like my crate and view it as my safe space.
As I get more comfortable, my silly side is starting to come out. I have learned how to go up and down the few stairs outside to the backyard and love exploring.
I would love a calm, patient home with a fenced-in backyard. If you’re looking for a sweet, low-key companion, I’m your guy!
I’m a loveable, sweet boy that is looking for a second chance at life and will make the perfect companion for someone.

Here's a little more about me:
Housetrained? Sometimes - I’ve started to find my voice and have a deep, raspy bark, but am not overly vocal.
Apartment qualified? No
Any Special needs or Health Issues? I do not have many teeth so my dry kibble is softened with warm water
Adoption Fee? $325
The adoption process starts with an Online Adoption Application you can find at ''https://www.adoptaboston.com/adoption-application.

All our dogs are spayed/neutered (if six months and older), up to date on rabies and distemper, heartworm tested, and microchipped.
