Pickles's Story
Need a good work-from-home companion? Look no further than Pickles! This sweet, cuddly boy is independent and calm. He'll play, but only when he wants to. So you can get your work done (as long as he can see you) and then play when he's ready.

Pickles is very much a puppy, but he's making progress in house-training, crate-training and leash-walking. (Thank goodness for AARF's foster parents who provide such great training in their homes!) Pickles is good at waiting to potty until he's outside or can use a puppy pad. He whines a bit at first in the crate but does settle down. He's not super excited about the lack of freedom on a leash, but he's learning.

Pickles is a bit shy and is a little timid around other dogs and cats.

Swing by the AARF House on Saturdays between 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. to meet our adoptable animals! We're located at 302 Thurston Street in Winston-Salem. Get the adoption process started and head to aarfws.org to fill out an application!
