Pickles's Story

Pickles is about 2-3 years old, 70 pounds, a little timid with people but super friendly with other dogs. She would love to be the second or third dog in a family with a big fenced yard. Pickles had a rough start in life. She was a fearful puppy and was almost killed in a county pound, then was adopted and subjected to training with a shock collar. Final Frontier Rescue Project's Adoption Policy

Our goal is to make good matches of dogs, people, and home environments. Our application and screening process may feel onerous, but we want lifetime matches, and if it does not work out, we take our dogs back, so we do our best to prevent that! We are all volunteers and we will respond to your inquiry or application as soon as we can, usually within 1-2 days. If none of our dogs is a good fit, we encourage responsible adopters to visit their local shelter to foster or adopt.
