Meet PICKLES!! A rescue FAVORITE!<br/><br/>Sweet Pickles is a must meet! He will immediately charm you with his loving and goofy personality. If that doesn't do it, his ADORABLE "waddle walk" will! He loves people and playtime with his dog friends here at the sanctuary. Pickles enjoys splashing through the creek and playing with his toys, which can be whatever he finds.<br/><br/>Pickles is still very young - born in September 2025, so he still has a lot to learn about the world in general. He is smart and playful but hasn't had a chance to see much of the world quite yet. He is looking for someone who is patient and will gently and confidently reassure him when he gets a little scared of new things. <br/><br/>For example, car rides are still a little scary at first, but when he is with a person, he quickly decides things are probably ok - and he will proceed to lean on you velcro style. Pickles is a laid back kinda guy and after a little hike or playtime he is usually ready to chill and will stretch out on his dog pillow (or, your pillow if you are willing!). <br/><br/>We are envisioning a home for Pickles where he can thrive and will be a beloved member of the family. Prospective adopters should be prepared to show the patience and commitment to helping him develop lifelong habits in a safe, loving, and positive environment<br/><br/>It is our goal to find the perfect match for our adopters AND our dogs. That is why we offer foster-to-adopt trials if needed. If you are curious about how this works, please ask!<br/><br/>All our dogs are altered (spayed/neutered), vaccinated, and microchipped before going home with their new families.<br/><br/>The adoption fee for Pickles is sponsored! Pickles is especially excited about this because he thinks this means you'll have more money to spend on treats and toys for him!
