Picket's Story

Picket is a sweet, lovable little guy. He weighs in at 34 lbs and is just the right size for walking. He is not high energy but enjoys long walks and then comes home for a nap or a cuddle on the couch. He loves squeaking stuffies and chewing on nylabones. He also loves to play with his foster fur siblings. He would do better with a companion dog. He is not housetrained yet but is starting to get the idea after only 2 days in his foster home. He is taken outside every 2 hours during the day and once during the night. As long as the routine is consistent, he has not had any accidents. He has been crated for up to 2 hours and has done fine. No accidents in his crate and no chewing of his bed. He is still young, so he needs to be supervised and has only chewed on his toys and treats. He is a little shy but is quick to warm up in a calm environment. He gives the best little kisses. He has not been around kids or cats. If you think Picket would make a great addition to your home, please apply.

FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN.
