I'm looking for a gentle family that can help me overcome my shyness and is ready for lots of playtime and adventure. <br/><br/>Favorite Things: Toys! Chew toys, soft toys, big toys, little toys, Phylo loves them all. He still has the puppy instinct to chew and loves playtime and chances to interact with humans and dogs. <br/><br/>Training & Manners: Phylo is a smart cookie! He is also smart for cookies. As his food-based name implies, he is very food-motivated. He is housetrained if let out frequently and has already learned "sit" and "wait". He still needs more practice leash walking, but he will thrive in a home where he can get more training. <br/><br/>Health & Care: Phylo is a healthy boy! He will just need his monthly flea and heartworm preventatives, like any dog. He will also need regular grooming every few months to keep his beautiful Shih Tzu coat in good condition. <br/><br/>Other Animals: Phylo requires a home with another dog to show him the ropes and keep him company. He's good with large dogs. He hasn't been observed around cats, but given his curiosity levels, his foster doesn't think that they would get along.<br/><br/>Children: This shy sweetheart would do best in a home with kind, understanding, older children only (ages 8+). <br/><br/>Ideal Home: Phylo is all go-go-go!
