Phoenix's Story

Last but definitely not least, meet Phoenix-the Queen of Dog Town Rescue! Phoenix, or 'Pheenie,' as we affectionately call her, is truly a beloved member of our rescue family. She first joined us as a puppy named Ravioli back in 2019 but sadly was returned in June 2021 when her family's living arrangements changed. That means Phoenix has been with us for 3 years! While she's made herself comfortable, we know she deserves a home of her own. Age: 5-6 years old s Weight: She's got a little junk in her trunk, and she loves it that way! Breed: Pittie/Doberman Mix (with a dash of Spicy Stuffed Ravioli ) S'' Favorite Activities: Playing mermaids! Phoenix LOVES the water-whether it's a creek, lake, pool, or even a kiddie pool. She's not big on intense physical activity, but she adores splashing around. She also enjoys lounging with her favorite people and dreams of having her very own couch someday. s Car Rides: The ultimate passenger princess -always ready for an adventure or errand run, preferably with a drive-thru stop on the way! Toys: Obsessed! Phoenix has her very own bin of toys she loves to chew on and play with all day. Treats: Who doesn't love treats?! Phoenix thinks she doesn't get enough of them, though! | Cats & Dogs? Nope, Phoenix wants to be your one and only. She's all about that exclusive attention! Kids? She'd prefer them to be 12+, just so everyone can respect her space. Ideal Family? Phoenix would thrive in a quieter home with a safe space to retreat when new guests arrive. She's a low-energy gal who enjoys a nice walk but also appreciates lounging on the couch afterward. She'd make a perfect binge-watching buddy or football fan! Crate & House Trained: Yep, she's got both of these down perfectly. Phoenix is 100% worth the time it takes to earn her trust, and once you do, you'll be rewarded with her signature smile and belly rubs. It breaks our hearts that she hasn't gotten any applications simply because she prefers to be the only pet and likes to keep her friend circle small. Help us make 2024 her year to finally find the home she deserves! Please share Phoenix's story-she's ready to be someone's one and only! Interested in Phoenix?
