Meet Phoenix, an adorable young pup who is full of love. Although she is unsure when meeting new humans, she is dog and cat friendly. She was a stray who lived behind a gas station for a few months before she was finally won over and trusted her foster mom enough to let her pet her. Eventually this sweetheart got into her car to begin her new life.<br/><br/>Phoenix is approximately 10-12 mos old, 45 lbs and thought to be a Kelpie, Shepherd mix. She is a smart and curious pup who is always eager to learn and explore the world around her. This girl loves her treats and so is fun to train. She is a special dog and would do best with a fully fenced yard and a family with lots of love and patience to help her to trust humans again.<br/><br/>She will be fully vetted, spayed, and microchipped. She is heartworm positive and is currently undergoing treatment which is covered by Abbey Road Rescue. To help gain confidence and trust, Phoenix is enrolled in training with a professional.
