She's independent yet incredibly affectionate — her favorite thing is leaning into her person for love and reassurance. She has been waiting patiently for her perfect match since October 2022, when she was found in a hospital parking lot with no one to claim her.<br/><br/>She's crate-trained, house-trained, and leash-trained, and she knows her basic commands — Sit, Down, and Come. She's completely at ease with everyone she meets, men and women alike — she's spent plenty of time with our onsite team and the all-female vet staff who've cared for her.<br/><br/>Phoenix does well with other dogs given the right introduction — she currently gets along with a submissive male German Shepherd, but slow, careful intros are a must with anyone new.
