She was dumped at the shelter with her puppies, covered in dog bite wounds and struggling with skin issues. She was even placed on the euthanasia list. But Phoenix never gave up.<br/><br/>With lots of vet care, supplements, and endless love, Phoenix has completely blossomed. Her wounds have healed, her fur is growing back, and she’s showing the world who she truly is: a gentle, loving, trusting girl with the biggest heart.<br/><br/>Despite everything she has been through, Phoenix is wonderful with people. She is affectionate, sweet, and so grateful for kindness. She leans into love like she’s been waiting her whole life for it.<br/><br/>Because of repeated attacks in her past, Phoenix can be fearful and reactive with other dogs, but she is learning every day that she is safe now. She will need a patient and understanding home that will continue to help her build confidence at her own pace.<br/><br/>Phoenix’s perfect home is one filled with love, stability, and guidance — someone who will show her that the world isn’t scary anymore and that she never has to fight for survival again.<br/><br/>Phoenix has spent her life taking care of others… now she’s ready for someone to take care of her. 🖤🐾✨
