Phoebe's Story

10/28/2014 - Introducing Dog!
Hello! Miss Phoebe here! Aren’t I just the cutest thing ever?

I am quite the little princess in my foster home right now. Although you can’t tell, I’m actually 10 years young and have kept my girlish figure! I do like things my way, so if you don’t pay attention to me, I will bark at you! I enjoy cuddling in your lap and exploring my surroundings.

New dogs scare me at first but I get used to them quickly. However I DO expect to be your #1 and will reward you for giving me attention! In my old home I had a brother, and he went to a foster home as well. I would probably do well to be with a male companion in my new home but no matter what, the most important thing to me is the devoted love of my forever human!

I am quite petite so make sure you have warm clothes for me! My foster family thinks I’m hard of hearing but that doesn’t stop me from running around being spunky and sassing at the other dogs. I have a fairly high activity level for my age so keep me busy and I’ll be happy. I need wet food often because I don’t have many teeth and my metabolism is really fast! I will make a great companion for you so please fill out an application and you can come visit me! I can’t wait!!

If you are interested in this or any other dog being fostered by IGCA Rescue - Colorado, please contact our state Rescue Coordinator (Bobbie - coloradoigrescue@msn.com) to start the adoption paperwork process.
