Phoebe's Story
Meet Phoebe!
Breed: Lab/Great Pyrenees mix
Weight: 64 lbs
Age: 3 years old
Gender: Female, Spayed
UTD on shots, microchipped, and potty trained!

Phoebe is a shining diamond in the "ruff" She has been through a lot so far in her lifetime. From being out on the streets as a stray, to being overlooked for 11 months in a shelter in TX, then hitching a ride to WI in hopes of finding her forever home!

Phoebe truly is the sweetest girl, and has amazed her foster family with how much she knows. She's potty trained, crate trained, sleeps well through the night, will sit on command, and walks fabulously on a leash!

Phoebe is still working on trusting others around her, so she would fit wonderfully in a home that will give her the patience she needs. She currently lives in a foster home with other dogs, cats, and small kids, and slow introductions have been key. She also has reservations about men initially (it's believed she was handled by men during her shelter days, and may have traumatized her), but give her time and she will be your best friend!

Phoebe would pair well with another confident dog in the home, or she is perfectly content being the only dog as long as her human doesn't mind some extra attention from her A separate feeding area from other doggie friends is a must until Phoebe gains full trust in them.

So whether you're going for a quick walk exploring for hours outside or just staying in and enjoying a relaxing day on the couch with a good book Phoebe is up for it all!
Will you give Phoebe the happy forever home she deserves??
