From being out on the streets as a stray, to being overlooked for 11 months in a shelter in TX, then hitching a ride to WI in hopes of finding her forever home!<br/><br/>Phoebe truly is the sweetest girl, and has amazed her foster family with how much she knows. She's potty trained, crate trained, sleeps well through the night, will sit on command, and walks fabulously on a leash!<br/><br/>Phoebe is still working on trusting others around her, so she would fit wonderfully in a home that will give her the patience she needs. She currently lives in a foster home with other dogs, cats, and small kids, and slow introductions have been key. Thanks for your interest in one of our dogs. In order to adopt the first thing you need to do is go to our website at www.lastpawrescue.org and fill out an adoption application. Vet and landlord references will be checked and you must be approved in order to meet one of our dogs. A home visit will also need to be done. We are a foster based rescue in Wisconsin. We get our dogs from kill shelters both in Wisconsin and from other states. The dogs must be spayed/neutered prior to adoption. They will also have age appropriate shots, health certificate and micro chip. We have foster homes all over the state of Wisconsin.
