Good with Kids: No

Phillip is a sweet, fluffy boy that was one of many, many dogs seized from a terrible hoarding case. He has come a good way since his time living in squalid conditions. He does best when he is around a confident dog that he can tag along with and takes many social cues from his canine companions. He does not really like large dogs. He is passable on a leash and will allow people to pet, touch, and handle him, though he does freeze on contact and will run when given the opportunity. He has never ever been shown negative behavior to humans and does great at the groomer and for informal grooming such as nail trimming at the rescue. He would do best in a home without small children since he is scared of quick movements and loud noises. He needs a family that can understand his past and provide him with all the love and patience he needs to thrive. If living in a home, Phillip requires a fence.
