Peyton 's Story

Peyton is a very sweet and goofy 5-6 year old Morkie. He came from a breeder that did not want him anymore. He is shy and reserved at first but his personality really shines through once he gets comfortable. He will need a patient home who will teach him how to be a loved family member...something he's been missing out on so far in life. He will need a dental in the near future. He loves to play with other dogs and toys and then cuddle up next to you on the couch. He is neutered, up to date on shots and heartworm negative . Paws 4 the Cause's Adoption Policy
Paws 4 the Cause is an all volunteer "no kill" rescue. We do not harm animals, but the more we can adopt out, the more we can take in. We take in the hardest cases, dogs and cats that are close to death or starvation. The adoption fee barely covers a fraction of what we spend. Our average animal costs about $200 for the first month in food and vet fees, and approx. $50 per month thereafter. All donations are used to pay directly for animal food and vet expenses. There are no employee or overhead expenses.
