Petunia's Story

Even though she likes to rough house with her foster brothers, Petunia is a real girlie girl. She prances when she sees you and constantly wags her tail. She likes to curl up under your arm and sleep and gets along with dogs and cats and even thinks it's funny when a big cat swats her. She has been sleeping through the night next to her brother and only barks in play. This little princess loves giving and receiving kisses and enjoys being held. She likes to explore her outdoor surroundings and chase leaves (eating them is also a possibility). Petunia has a hearty appetite and prefers to eat alone, so no one tries to take her food. Our top priority is finding the perfect match between families and pets so that all of our rescued animals find a safe and loving home. We try to make our adoption process a fun and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. At the same time, we pride ourselves on being as thorough as possible. This means that we take time to make sure the pet you're interested in is the right fit for your family. We will work with you to make sure you have all the information you need to make an informed decision. If there is more than one application for a pet, we will be upfront and let you know. Please be aware that we may make a home visit and/or contact your veterinarian before completing the adoption process. We may also contact your landlord if you rent an apartment or home. Our aim to ensure a lifetime of love and companionship for all of our animals and their new families.
