We have absolutely amazing news!!!!!!<br/>After almost 5 months we feel very confident in saying Petunia has survived her heartworm treatment!!! She had her last injection last week and she is happy as can be!!! Just a re-cap.... we rescued Petunia from our city kill shelter. She was in horrible condition and then on top of that she was heartworm positive. She has been with our team member Sarah and her family from day 1 and as much as they love her they know Petunia is ready to fly the coop ? We are looking for a local family. She can not be spayed for about another month so she will be on a foster with the intent to adopt contract. Meaning once she is spayed and 100% medically cleared it becomes a formal adoption. <br/>A little about this amazing girl. She LOVES KIDS ? She gets along with other dogs but lately seems too interested in cats and chickens so probably do best in a home without them. She is a senior and can not see 100% but boy you could never tell!! She is feeling so much better and is really starting to show her quirky and funny personality.
