*** For loving, patient, caring, and responsible adopters, only *** Meet one of our jewels, Petuka (Honey)...She has been patiently waiting for you, her furever home. This beautiful shy yet independent and loving pup has been through a lot. Petuka was rescued along with her sister from a gas station where they lived. Despite all the abuse and hunger they endured, they were hopeful; their faith and hunger were a lot greater than fear. Their rescuer fed them daily until they were caught. Upon their rescue, both sisters were taken to the veterinarian. Petuka was given antibiotic treatment for tick infection, a nice warm bath, and treats for her good behavior. She has been dewormed, given flea treatment, is fully vaccinated, and spayed. Petuka is now 3yrs young, she weighs 50lbs (loves food and treats), and longs to have her own family. Adoption Policy We focus on creating lasting, loving matches between people and pets. To respect our volunteers’ time and our animals’ well-being, adoption details are only discussed after an adoption application has been submitted. We are a 100% volunteer-run, nonprofit organization, and we deeply appreciate your patience and understanding — our first priority is always the animals. All dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations before adoption.
