Petey

Petey is a four-year-old male Lab/Pit mix who came to us because his owner has cancer. He was a sick boy when he first came in, testing positive for Lyme and Ehrlichia, as well as having a nasty respiratory infection. After 30 days of Doxycycline treatment, Petey is ready to go to his new home! You would be hard pressed to find a more docile, sweet boy. He gets along with people of all ages and all animals. He’s just an all-around good boy who has won the hearts of all of our volunteers. Petey's best friend here is Brooklyn — they are hilarious together! 🤣💕<br/><br/>All dogs up for adoption are spayed or neutered and are heartworm tested and up to date on distemper, parvo, kennel cough and rabies vaccinations. We treat for worms and ear mites as well as flea and tick preventative.<br/><br/>Thanks to a grant from Kia/Petfinder, dog adoptions are only $82.50 with an approved application.<br/><br/>We welcome visitors Tuesday evenings 4-7 p.m. Saturday mornings 9 a.m. to noon. Sundays 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. You may also schedule an appointment at a time that is more convenient for your schedule.
