Petey & Eb's Story

UPDATE: These boys were originally in pretty sad shape and were rescued from a shelter where they were on their last day before being euthanized. But, we have very happy news including that they have been thoroughly vetted. So, here's what I know about them so far.

They are bonded, I assume they are siblings, but being younger, I am quite certain they can be separated with great success. They are super exuberant and still a little leery of people. Petey (black over his eye) is more shy then Eb, but when you sit down they just climb all over you and are so happy to be loved. They love rawhides and I love them too because it slows them down long enough to be able to get pictures (and pet them). They are super happy boys and really sweet little guys.

They have had the run of our farm and have not bothered one single animal, not even our baby ducklings, so they passed that test with flying colors! I've been surprised, they haven't chewed on anything that I have noticed. They are not food aggressive, neither with each other nor other animals or people. I've been feeding them from the same bowl thus far.

They have been neutered, wormed, nails trimmed, wounds healed up, and much fatter than they were initially. When they came in they were about nine lbs, they now both weigh a whopping 16 lbs, but I don't expect them to gain any further weight and since they are at least six months, I am sure they won't grow much larger, if at all, either.

Please send me an email and tell me about yourself, your home, your family, and why you think you are a perfect fit for them. Adoption fee is negotiable, so don't let that stop you, it's more important to me they find a good home. I will do a "twofer" for anyone who wants to take both, so you can adopt them for one adoption fee.

Are you their new family? Let's find out!
