When he arrived, he was underweight, and it was clear that he had been through a lot. He is now getting the love, care, and support he needs to move forward.<br/><br/>Petey does well with dogs, kids and cats, making him a pretty easygoing little guy when it comes to his furry and human friends.<br/><br/>There is one very important thing his future family needs to understand: Petey is petrified of being crated. He can potentially hurt himself trying to escape a crate, so a traditional crate is not safe for him. He does well when left out and will need a home that understands and respects this need.<br/><br/>Petey is looking for someone who will give him the time to build trust and feel safe.
