Petey's Story

Added new pictures of Petey. He is still a young dog and is waiting on his forever home!! Petey is a high energy doggie and would need a fenced yard. He would be best no other animals. He is very smart and is doing well walking with a leash.

Petey was found in a field and never reclaimed. He is just a pup looking for a family to love. Doc says he will be a big boy. At only 15 weeks, he is already 24 pounds. He is smart and learned to sit in just a matter of minutes. He is starting on leash training and doing very well. Since he is at our center, we believe he will need work on house training and as with puppies, we suggest lots of chew toys. Are you looking for a great pup that will be a great friend for a long time, complete an application to meet him and hopefully take this boy home.

Adoption fee: $85 includes his neuter at 6 months at Mansfield Animal Hospital
Applications: www.maxshope.com

Please include your veterinarian name, number and the name your current pets are listed under. Also please check your information carefully. All current pets must be up to date on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Dogs must be on heart worm preventative. Our adoptable cats must live inside and adopters must agree not to declaw. If these criteria are not met, we will not process your application.

Adoption Process: This is not a first come, first serve organization. We will do our best to process applications within 48 business hours of receiving them. The application must be completed in full including first and last name, complete address including city and state, complete veterinarian information (this will be checked and all pets must be neutered or spayed, up to date on all vaccines, and dogs must be current on heartworm prevention) and the name of all current pets in the household. We are 100% volunteers and I will not subject anyone who is giving of themselves and their time to hostile conversations. Please be patient with us. We are not paid for our endless hours and are looking for the BEST home for the babies in our care. We will process your information and an email will be sent to the email you provide on the application.
