All dogs over 6 months have been heartworm tested, and all dogs are treated monthly for fleas/ticks and are on Heartworm prevention (NexGard PLUS). All pets are spayed/neutered prior to a finalized adoption. All our dogs receive a behavior assessment before being placed for adoption to determine initial behaviors towards people and other dogs in the shelter environment.
