A meet-and-greet is required with any potential doggy siblings to make sure everyone's personalities are a perfect match.<br/><br/>He has also been cat tested and showed absolutely no interest in the cat—which is pretty much the definition of a good boy! <br/><br/>Petey LOVES his people and will happily soak up all the attention, lovins, kisses, and pets you're willing to give. He is incredibly gentle when taking treats and is a true gentleman around food. Hell patiently wait for his helping rather than making a fuss.<br/><br/>Petey is low energy and doesn't need a packed schedule to be happy. All dogs over 6 months have been heartworm tested, and all dogs are treated monthly for fleas/ticks and are on Heartworm prevention (NexGard PLUS). All pets are spayed/neutered prior to a finalized adoption. All our dogs receive a behavior assessment before being placed for adoption to determine initial behaviors towards people and other dogs in the shelter environment. People visiting the shelter in person or viewing animals on our website will note that all of our dogs are labeled as Mixed Breeds unless they have been DNA tested or are surrendered to the shelter with paperwork. Any potential breeds listed here on PetFinder are not assumed to be accurate and are merely a starting point for people to be able to search for a dog who may visually resemble a breed they are interested in.
