This happy, loving boy has so much affection to give and would love nothing more than to curl up beside you on the couch and be your constant companion. He enjoys playtime in the yard, especially with his favorite toys, and is just as happy relaxing with his people.<br/><br/>Peter is dog-friendly and does well with children who understand that he needs a calm, gentle environment. He has low to medium energy, walks well on a leash, and enjoys playing with stuffed toys. Whether it’s time for fun or time to snuggle, Peter is happiest when he’s by your side.<br/><br/>Peter has had surgeries to address a rectal prolapse, which has left him with some ongoing bowel issues. The good news is that he can be accident-free in the house and hold it through the night with the right routine. He does need to go outside promptly after eating, so a fenced yard can be helpful, although it isn’t a requirement for his forever home. His future family should simply be prepared to stay consistent with his bathroom schedule and understand his needs.<br/><br/>Peter is a happy, sweet boy who has so much love to give. He doesn’t need a perfect home—just someone who understands him, has a little patience, and is willing to give him the care and affection he deserves. In return, he’ll give you plenty of cuddles, companionship, and unconditional love.<br/>Adoption donation is $425 cash, $450 credit, debit or Venmo.
