Peter's Story
Meet Peter!

Peter is an adult cattle dog mix and truly the best boy. He's incredibly friendly, loves being around people, and is always eager to please. Like many cattle dog mixes, Peter is intelligent and quick to learn-especially when treats and consistency are involved. When he gets excited, he can be a little jumpy, but he responds well to guidance and is always trying to do the right thing.

He enjoys staying active and engaged, whether it's playing fetch or keeping himself busy with his toys. Peter listens well and thrives when he has both physical activity and mental stimulation. His happy attitude and sweet nature make him a wonderful companion.

Peter can get very nervous when it comes to getting into a car, so he'll benefit from patience, reassurance, and positive reinforcement to help build his confidence. With the right support, he'll continue to grow into an even more confident and well-rounded dog, ready to be a loyal best friend in his forever home.

The shelter is open Tuesday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A meet-and-greet is required for all shelter dogs if you already have a dog. Thank you for considering the adoption of a shelter animal in need!
