Meet Peter! An 8 month old pup who is just pure sunshine and very confused as to why he landed back in the shelter. Well, we are right there with him… confused. Adopted a few days before Christmas after spending over a month at the shelter, Peter was so excited that he was finally chosen. However, he was brought back into our care last week, through no fault of his own. The adopters said he was no longer a good fit for their family. The entire staff at F&C is swooned by Peter. He walks phenomenally on a leash and keeps his kennel nice and tidy. Further indication that he is the greatest dog ever! Peter jumps at every opportunity to walk with his dog friends or play with them in the community center. Either way, he is jumping with joy during every interaction. While Peter has a silly and playful side, there is an affectionate side to him that will melt your heart. He leans right into your chest for hugs and looks right up at you in admiration. He will be the perfect mix of playful and couch potato…. our favorite!! Peter hasn't found his people quite yet, but is determined to find his perfect match.
