Peter's Story

Meet Peter!

Age: 3 months
Weight: 3 pounds

Introducing the sweetest little puppy who’s ready to bring joy and cuddles into your life! This adorable little guy may still be finding his paws, but he’s full of love and potential.

Peter is a tender-hearted soul who loves to snuggle! While he’s still adjusting and occasionally feels a bit nervous when he can’t find you, he’s becoming braver each day. With every passing moment in his foster home, he grows more comfortable and confident, especially with the help of his loving foster family and furry companions!

This playful puppy delights in time spent playing with his foster siblings, engaging in play sessions. Chewing on bones is a favorite pastime, and he’s just beginning to explore toys with curiosity! After a fun bout of play, he loves nothing more than curling up for cozy snuggles.

Peter is still learning the ins and outs of being house-trained. However, he does enjoy potty time outdoors when taken out regularly. With a little patience and consistency, he'll catch on quickly!
We’re actively working on crate training, and he is making good progress! Providing him a safe space to call his own will help him feel secure as he continues to settle in.

Peter has an energetic spirit typical of puppies but also knows when to wind down. After some fun play or chewing, he’s ready for a cozy nap, making him a balanced companion for any family.

His perfect home would be one with another smaller or medium-sized dog that’s good with little dogs. A playmate will help him feel more secure and encouraged. Given his size, a home without young children would be ideal, as they may be a little too much for him right now.

If you’re ready to welcome a loving companion into your life, this adorable little guy is here, waiting to snuggle his way into your heart! ?

MMDR is entirely foster based. Once your adoption application has been approved, you would schedule a meet and greet with the dog you are interested in adopting, and the foster family. If the meet and greet goes well you would then schedule a time to bring your new dog home. We pride ourselves on matching dogs with adopters. We do not adopt out on a first-come, first-served basis.
