Adoption Bio: Meet Pete, a 2.5-year-old neutered Siberian Husky with a gentle heart under a shy first impression.Pete can start off a little nervous when meeting new people, but once he feels safe and comfortable, his sweet personality shines through—especially when it comes to cuddles and affection from his trusted humans. He truly enjoys closeness and connection once he warms up.According to his previous family, Pete lived primarily as an outdoor dog and was familiar with a home environment that included other dogs, with whom he did well. He has also been described as a good watchdog, alert and aware of his surroundings. Because of his Husky nature and history, he will need a secure fenced yard to keep him safe while he explores and enjoys the outdoors.Pete has shown that he is non-reactive to other dogs, making him a great candidate for a multi-dog home with proper introductions. If you’re looking for a loyal, soft-hearted Husky who just needs a little time to trust before showing his loving, cuddly side, Pete may be the perfect match.
