Part woodland cryptid.

Born at the beginning of January, Pesto arrived fully committed to being the most interesting thing in every room. One icy blue eye, one brown eye, and ears that appear to receive signals from neighboring counties. We’re honestly convinced he can hear a snack bag opening from three miles away.

Pesto's prior owners tell us his Mom was a mix between a Lab, American Bully, and Akita. Dad was unknown. We expect Pesto to grow up to be around 55-65lbs.

Pesto looks just a little unhinged — in the absolute best way possible. Between the ears, the eyes, and the permanent expression of “I just had an idea,” he keeps everyone entertained without even trying. But despite his delightfully chaotic appearance, he is incredibly sweet and affectionate.

Pesto fully believes every person he meets was put on this earth to pet him. He’s playful, funny, and always wants to be part of whatever is happening, but once he burns through his puppy energy, he turns into a total snuggle bug. He’s been around kids, dogs, and cats and does great with all of them.

Basically, if you’ve ever wanted a puppy that looks slightly magical, mildly suspicious, and impossibly lovable all at once, Pesto is your guy.

Apply to adopt at https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/TRRA/Dog
