We think Perseus could be a husky/heeler mix, and we know he is adorable! He is approximately 11 weeks old, 8 pounds and growing and currently in foster care in Big Bend National Park. One Tail at a Time - West Texas's Adoption Policy
All OTAT-WTX dogs are well-assessed; most become available for adoption after settling into foster homes where we learn loads about them. With rare exception, our pets are fully vetted before becoming available to adopt. Note that there is $150 minimum adoption fee (for dogs and cats and rabbits; if adopting a pair of kittens, the adoption fee is $200). In case of financial hardship, a minimum number of adoption fees may be waived.
