Perla is a sweetheart who is settling in wonderfully to her foster home and slowly realizing that she is safe and sound. She is a quiet, calm, and low-maintenance companion who spends most of her day sleeping and relaxing in familiar spaces where she feels safest.<br/>Perla is blind and may be close to deaf, and enjoys life in the slow lane. She does best with a predictable routine. In her foster home, she eats and drinks outside twice a day, which encourages her to go potty outdoors immediately afterward. She also reliably uses pee pads indoors in her pen area when needed.<br/>Our little one is 14 years old and a whopping 12.4 pounds. She came to us rather neglected and has been catching up on much-needed care while regaining her health. She has been cleared for a dental procedure and will be available for adoption shortly after.<br/>She doesn’t ask for much, mostly just TLC, and would love a quiet, loving home to retire in.
