Perla's Story

Perla is a companion style dog. She’s a protector of her human in a way of being cautious when others come into her home!! She is a sweet dog who was roaming a campus in Mayaguez Puerto Rico for a year! She had had puppies at least once. Currently she’s being treated for heartworm. She has a month left! Her demeanor is initially a little scared - as she gets to know you she wants to be with you!!! She likes to sit on couch or in a bed and is being crate trained for night sleeps and if you leave her home for two hours. She loves bones and enjoys playing with other dogs. She is an alpha female!!
