Meet Perdita, a sweet, medium-sized terrier mix with a classic black-and-white coat and gentle eyes that tell you she’s been through a lot, but she is still hopeful. Perdita is about 2 years old, weighs 30.8 pounds, and she came to Tracy’s Paws Rescue from a hoarding case in Pearsall, Texas.<br/><br/>Perdita has an excellent temperament with everyone, and that fits her overall vibe of being a good girl who wants to do the right thing for her human caregivers. At the same time, Perdita is a bit on the shy side and will do best with an adopter who understands that her trust must be earned. She is the kind of dog who may hang back at first, watch and listen, and then quietly lean into you once she realizes she is safe. A calmer home, a predictable routine, and a patient person will help her settle in and blossom.<br/><br/>Perdita is spayed, microchipped, and has tested negative for both heartworm and Chagas.<br/><br/>Perdita is located in Hondo, Texas and is available for transport to Dublin, OH on April 25th. She is spayed, up to date on all shots, microchipped and her adoption fee is $450.
