Pepsi's Story

Meet Pepsi 🐾
Just like his name, Pepsi is a little bubbly once you get to know him.

At about a year old, this sweet boy is still figuring out that the world isn’t so scary. He didn’t have much human interaction early on, so new things can feel big and overwhelming. But here’s the beautiful part… he wants to be brave. And every day, he tries.

In foster care, Pepsi has blossomed from shy side-eye glances to walking up for pets. Yes, he now approaches for affection on his own, and when he does? It feels like you just unlocked a secret level of trust. Soft eyes. Gentle lean. Tiny tail wag that says, “Okay… I think I can trust you.”

He absolutely loves other dogs and would thrive in a home with a playful canine buddy to help build his confidence. He reads other dogs beautifully and comes alive during playtime. Kids? He’s good with them. Cats? Also approved. He’s basically a polite little social committee member.

And here’s a fun twist… Pepsi is a water baby. Kiddie pools, splashing, puddles? Yes please. If there’s water involved, expect happy zoomies and pure puppy joy.
He’s potty trained with a dog door and understands outside is the place to go. He’s still very much a puppy, though, which means shoes and furniture occasionally look like “experimental art projects.” He’ll need someone patient and understanding who’s committed to continuing his training and confidence building.

Leash walking is in good progress. He’s starting to understand the idea, but he’s not ready for crowded coffee shop strolls just yet. With gentle guidance and consistency, he’ll get there.

Pepsi’s perfect home would be with someone who sees the magic in helping a shy dog bloom. Someone patient. Someone kind. Someone who celebrates the small wins.

Because once Pepsi decides you’re his person? That bond will be the real thing. Loyal. Sweet. Earned.

Ready to add a little sparkle to your life? 🥤💙
https://www.yavapaihumanetrappers.org/preadoption-application
