Peppy's Story

Welcome to STS: Peppy! Peppy is a spunky, brave, and sweet little boy. He's not afraid to play with his older, much larger, foster siblings and loves exploring all the toys together! He is very smart, quickly learning to use the stairs to get on the bed and to use the doggie door to go outside. Peppy is independent, but still affectionate! He loves to follow his foster parent around and help with daily chores, feeding the fish is his fave. When it's time to chill, he loves to wiggle to get the pets in just the right spots.

Peppy is still earning potty training and crate training, along with basic manners, and he's learning fast!

Peppy's foster was excited to announce that he and his brother, Poncho, are water dogs! This weather has them playing in the dog pool, having the perfect summer.

Peppy is about 3 months old and a mixed breed, so his exact size when grown up is a best guess. Right now he's 10 lbs and we suspect he will be a medium-large sized dog, maybe 40lbs.

Adoption fee is $500 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, fecal/deworming, vaccines and prevention up to date. Ohio residents only.

STS is a foster-based and volunteer-run rescue. We do not have a physical location or set hours for you to meet dogs, and it does take time to answer each inquiry. All dogs are in foster homes and once an application is approved and a home visit is completed you will be able to schedule meet and greets with available dogs. We encourage interested individuals to get approved prior to searching as it helps expedite the process. A Petfinder inquiry is not a substitute for an application.
