Peppermint Patty's Story

Meet Peppermint Patty! Peppermint Patty is an all-around great puppy! Born around August 10, 2026, she's playful, spunky, incredibly sweet, and loves attention. She enjoys playing with her people, running around the yard, and exploring everything the great outdoors has to offer. This curious girl is always ready to see what she can discover! But Peppermint Patty (or Pepper as she is sometime called) biggest superpower might be her brain! She's incredibly intelligent and intuitive, and she loves figuring things out on her own. She learned to sit in about a minute, comes when called around 90% of the time, and figured out the doggie door all by herself! She's also very treat-motivated, which makes learning new things even more fun. Both crate and house training are well underway and going well! Pepper can be quite shy when meeting new people and needs a little extra time to warm up. Thankfully, treats are the way to her heart! Once she feels safe and learns she can trust you, her sweet, playful personality starts to shine. She'll do best with a family willing to give her the patience and encouragement she needs to build confidence at her own pace.
Pepper is a super mutt: all kinds of wonderful breeds mixed in there! We expect to grow to around 40 to 45 pounds when fully grown. She is currently on her vaccines. Her future spay and microchip is included with her adoption fee.
She's clever, loving, adventurous, and full of potential. Peppermint Patty just needs someone willing to give her a little time to blossom, and that person will discover one very special girl! If you are ready for a lifetime of love, laughter, and lots of kisses please inquire at adopt@carolinapaws.com.

It's in everyone's best interest to find the right match, and your cooperation is greatly appreciated. As soon as your application is approved (generally within 3-5days), Carolina P.A.W.S. will get in touch with you to arrange for you to meet your new pet! Filling out an application does not obligate you to adopt nor guarantee and adoption. Adoption Requirements: An application must be submitted prior to meeting the pet. Vets and references will be contacted; If you vet office requires client approve before giving out information, we ask that you contact their office once you submit an application. No animal will ever be adopted to "outside only" homes, as we firmly believe pets have a right to the warmth and safety of the indoors. Some dogs may require a fenced in yard or may not be suitable for an apartment, condo or townhome. A meet and greet will be arranged by a Carolina P.A.W.S. representative. A contract must be signed at the time of the adoption. An adoption fee is required to help defray the cost of the pet's spay /neuter, vaccinations, microchip and any other medical cost. All applicants need to be 21 years of age or older to apply. An applicant must be fully employed and proof of employment may be requested. If you reside in a rental property, we will contact the property owner to confirm that an animal is allowed. Please note: We will occasionally allow adoptions of puppies and kittens that are not spayed/neutered; however, the adopter must bring the animal to our vet for spay/neuter . This date will be scheduled prior to adoption and will be stated on the adoption contract.
