She is currently under the care of our wonderful chiropractor, Dr. Dana at The Animal Crackers, who is helping her stay comfortable and mobile. She began treatment at the end of Oct and going weekly. Pepper has signifigant improvement in her mobility already.<br/><br/>Personality<br/><br/>Pepper is as charming as they come! She enjoys being around people, soaking up attention, and getting gentle belly rubs. She’s friendly with both dogs and children, and she loves being part of the family.<br/><br/>Her Ideal Home<br/><br/>Pepper will need a special home that understands her condition and can provide her with a safe, calm environment.<br/><br/>A home with hard floors due to her having issues sometimes with her bladder or bowels.<br/><br/>•A home without stairs is a must to protect her back.<br/><br/>•Her family should be able to monitor her activity, making sure she doesn’t overdo playtime and gets the rest she needs.<br/><br/>•Pepper would do best in a home with older, gentle children who understand that she can’t be chased or allowed to jump on and off furniture.<br/><br/>About IVDD<br/><br/>IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease) is a common condition in French Bulldogs and other small breeds. It means the cushioning discs in the spine can become irritated or damaged, which can cause pain or stiffness. The good news is that with proper care—like chiropractic adjustments, rest, and avoiding jumping—dogs with IVDD can still live happy, comfortable lives.
