PEPPER's Story

Meet Pepper, a medium sized, Heinz 57 mixed breed pup. Pepper full of life and charm, fun-sized and ready to enjoy life with her new family. Despite an old leg injury, Pepper has plenty of bounce in her step. Prior to arriving at the shelter, Pepper suffered a fracture to her leg that does not appear to have been treated. She tends to hold her leg at an odd angle but the injury does not require surgery. Her new owner will just need to be aware of this injury and the potential for issues as she gets older. But note that her leg does not slow her down - this girl is always up for a walk or a play session and wants to just go, go, go! Pepper doesn't let anything slow her down, she loves to play, explore, and show off her happy wiggle. Her tail never stops wagging and her joyful spirit is contagious. Pepper is the perfect mix of sweet and spunky, always ready for an adventure. She is still young, and full of sass, so she needs an experienced owner who can help her refine her manners. This young girl needs to work on her leash skills as well as her tendency to greet people by jumping up on them and to use hands and leashes as chew toys. Luckily, with her sweet personality and adorable nature, you can't help but smile at this girl and her antics! She wiggles and wags her tail at everyone she meets, and is an absolute bundle of energy. Contact the East Region shelter at 416-338-7297 if you are interested in adopting Pepper!
