Pepper's Story

Pepper was abandoned by his owners. He is about 9 yrs old and around 80 lbs.
He is friendly, vocal--like many hounds, social and seems fine around some other dogs---he must meet any dog he may live with before adoption is approved and finalized. We do not know how he is with children or cats. Our guess is that he would be fine with older kids however, because he is pretty chill and low key.

Pepper has accidents in his kennel here----so he may not be housetrained OR simply need regular routine outings (we do not have staff here 24 hours a day to let the dogs out--so when we leave they sometimes have accidents). He walks ok on leash but does pull some.

While he is an older dog that doesn't necessarily mean he is a true couch potato. He still enjoys exploring and being outside. So moderate exercise would still be needed for him.

Please stop in to meet him and complete an application if you are interested.

Morrow County Dog Shelter, Mt.
