Pepper - Bonded with Wizard's Story

Pepper (or we like to call him Chili Pepper) was found with Wizard - they are two bonded dogs (it would be wonderful to keep them together but not necessary). Pepper is 32 lbs and just a pup - under 1 year old. He is vaccinated and a runner - he slipped out of his leash and went out for a joy run - how we found him? We brought his buddy Wizard to help bring him back. He is dog friendly and a little mischievous - he is a runner. When he first came in, you could tell he was very weary of humans. Blue Island Stray Dog Project's Adoption Policy
We have potential adopters fill out an application (linked on PetFinder or please email Blueislandstrays@gmail.com). Once we get a potential adopters application, we process background checks, vet checks, and reference checks. We like to speak and get to know the adopter to ensure a good fit and set up the adopter and the dog for success! Once approved for adoption, we like to conduct home visits when possible, and if a potential adopter has another dog in the house, we make it mandatory for dog meets with the other dog; sometimes, more than once.
