Pepper

Pepper is a medium sized, young saluki mix who was rescued in Qatar. She can be quite timid when meeting new people, but once comfortable she is friendly and waggy, loves to run and play and is also happy to just hang out and snuggle. Pepper is a sweet girl with a medium energy level, clean in the home, and she has learned to sit for a treat. <br/><br/>Pepper does have an issue with other dogs coming too close when she is on lead, so homes where she could not be protected from such encounters have not worked out for her. In general she needs to feel secure and protected by her person or people, so she does not have to become the protector. Her owner must be able to work with this, anticipate issues and make the necessary adjustments. A one-dog home with a fenced yard is best for Pepper to be comfortable and secure.
