Pepper 's Story

Pepper is in North Carolina. She’s been waiting very patiently for someone to love - we’d really want to place her in a loving home where her smart energetic behavior would really be appreciated. Pepper would def. love a fenced yard & an attentive person to give her the attention she truly needs.<br/><br/>She had a rough start at a small underfunded NC shelter but a group of dedicated rescue ladies worked their butts off to help get her safe!<br/><br/>All her medical care was donated & 3 weeks of board in NC to help give her the time needed to find a foster - foster-to-adopt. THAT’s allot of help for one pup! <br/><br/>Pepper has been in a foster home for about 3 weeks. She’s been trying her best and has learned her ‘Sit’, ‘Down’ and ‘Come’ commands. Pepper just wants to please her person. Her happy playful style makes her a great companion!<br/><br/>Pepper is a super smart sweet 2yo girl, approx. 55lbs, good with dogs, large or small - fully vetted - good in the home and crate trained. Potential adopters and foster-to-adopt persons will be contacted ASAP - we will respond to texts, direct phone calls & email inquiries. We do background checks and require personal references and Vet references as part of the adoption process. As part of the adopt/foster process a home check will be required as well as a photo ID. Preliminary jpgs of the home, other pets and/or children living in the home and the space the dog will be cared for in may also be requested prior to the home-check. We are primarily focused on dog placement in the New Jersey and New York areas. Whenever possible we will arrange for mutually agreeable meets and transport if required.
