Pepper 's Story

Meet Pepper!

This stunning two-year-old German Shepherd is as beautiful as she is full of personality. With her sleek, jet-black coat and confident presence, Pepper turns heads—but it’s her sweet, playful spirit that truly steals the show.

Pepper is a fun-loving, loyal, and confident girl who absolutely adores being with her people. She’s always up for an adventure—whether it’s a walk, a hike, or a car ride—and she’s just as happy relaxing by your side at the end of the day. She would love a home with a fenced yard where she can stretch her legs, play, and enjoy the outdoors safely.

One of Pepper’s favorite things? Water! She can’t resist splashing in a puddle or dipping her toes in any body of water, and if given the chance, she’d happily jump in for a swim. She also has a soft spot for squeaky toys and, impressively, treats them with a gentle touch—no instant toy destruction here!

Pepper is a wonderful walking and hiking companion. She can be vocal when she sees other dogs on leash, so she’ll do best with a confident handler who can continue guiding her and help her stay focused. She also has a strong prey drive—fast-moving critters like squirrels, birds, cats, and other small animals are just a little too exciting for her—so she’ll need a home that understands her instincts and can manage them appropriately.

Pepper has a naturally confident, leader-like personality and enjoys being the star of the show. She would likely thrive as the only dog in the home, where she can fully relax and soak up all the love and attention she deserves. Like many young German Shepherds, Pepper has bursts of playful energy, and her enthusiasm for having fun would not be a good match for small children.

Pepper joined the Serendipity pack in March after her previous family experienced lifestyle changes. She has lived in a home with dogs, cats, and children, but we’ve since learned that she prefers not to share her space with cats. Other than that, Pepper is excited to become your new best friend and promises a lifetime of devoted companionship and unconditional love. Is Pepper the kind of girl you’re looking for?

-------------------
Our Adoption Fees:
-------------------

*Dogs and puppies 12 months old or younger: $450

* Adult dogs over 12 months of age: $400

* Senior dogs over 7 years of age qualify for our "Seniors FUREVER" program!
