What is Carolina Coonhound Rescue’s adoption process?

Adoption Process: Adoption Application, Meet and Greet with the family, Home Check, Adoption Fees, Adoption Contract We do not have a shelter facility so you must email us with intent to adopt and make arrangements to meet a potential dog. Carolina Coonhound Rescue does not have a physical shelter facility.  We do have events scheduled all over the Charleston SC area though!  If you would like to make arrangements to come out to one of our events just send us an email for info on what's coming up!  If you would like to adopt please send us an email and we can make arrangements for you to meet that dog :)

What is Pepper’s adoption fee?

$300

Is Pepper good with kids?

Pepper is good with kids under the age of 5 and kids over the age of 5.

Is Pepper good with other animals?

Pepper is good with other dogs and cats.

When can I meet Pepper?

As soon as the adoption organization has a chance to review your information, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.

When can I adopt Pepper?

Time to adopt varies, but typically adoption organizations require an official application prior to adoption. If you’re a match, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.
